"Pierre, South Dakota is the headwaters of Lake Oahe (pronounced 0 waa hee). It is the largest of the Missouri River impounds, stretching from Pierre, S.D., 235 miles to the Cannon Ball River south of Bismarck, ND.

Surrounded by rolling prairie, the crystal clear water offers excellent fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike, salmon and more.

Pierre, S.D., is also the tail waters of Lake Sharpe, which stretches 90 miles south to Fort Thompson. Its 90 miles of blue water also offers excellent fishing for smallmouth bass and walleye.

Come up and fish this 335 miles of water with me.

Hope to see you soon.
